My Million Dollar Idea
I was at the zoo with a friend and, as often happens, I came up with a million dollar idea. Sometimes these are stupid, useless things. Sometimes I will see the exact idea created six months later.
But I had a backpack on, and my child had given me their backpack because they didn't want to carry it anymore (bog surprise there) and I said to my friend: "what I want is a sticky patch where I could just stick this second backpack onto the other one and keep going". Or something like that.
And she asked if I had a podcast.
It was such a random thing to ask. I have known her for twenty years. She would know. But, anyway, right now what I wanted was a way to stick the second backpack to my first.
My solution was simple: I always wear my backpack tight because it helps my posture. So I loosened the straps of my kid's backpack and slung it around my shoulders over the first.
Did it work? Of course.
Was it stylish? Lol, no.
Would I do it again? No, my child can carry their own damn backpack ... Which means yes, of course I will.
